A LOCAL PASSION
A Little Curiosity
Became Something More
It started with a telescope, a clear night and conversations on the beaches and promenades of Cape May. People would stop to look, ask questions, and bring their families back. It didn't take an astronomy degree - sometimes it just took someone to say, "Take a look."

Those moments showed how powerful and universal the night sky can be. What began as a personal passion slowly grew into Cape May Astro - a way to share that experience with more people.

THE MAN BEHIND THE TELESCOPES
Meet Kevin
Astronomy has been a lifelong passion for Kevin, the founder of Cape May Astro. What began as personal curiosity soon grew into a mission to make astronomy more approachable, understandable, and easy to experience for everyone.

THE IDEA BECAME A MISSION
Everyone Should Get
a Chance to Look Up.
There's something unforgettable about seeing Saturn's rings or the craters of the Moon for the first time. But not everyone has access to a telescope, dark skies, or someone to show them where to look.

That's why Cape May Astro exists.

We believe astronomy should be something everyone can experience, regardless of age, background, or experience. You don't need expensive equipment or years of knowledge. You just need curiosity.

From free public telescope viewing on the beaches of Cape May to live telescope experiences under distant skies, we're finding new ways to bring people together and make the universe feel a little closer.

Make astronomy approachable, understandable and easy to experience - wherever your journey begins.
